Description
Out of the Box is a modular living solution in its purest form. Built around different 3 x 3 x 2.80 (WxLxH) modules, that can be joined together horizontally and stacked up to 3 floors high. The different modules are designed to enable multiple living requirements, from a simple 2 person household all the way up to group accommodation for seasonal workforces, structural lack of housing, or even temporary refugee lodging.
The modules are made of environment friendly galvanised steel and the insolation values can vary, depending on local regulations and the weather conditions at the destination. They can be supplied with infra-red floor heating or an air to air heat-pump for both heating and cooling. To keep the costs as low as possible, the houses are standardised in form and function. Only 3 different size windows and 2 different doors (1 interior and 1 exterior) are used throughout the modules. Walls can be closed or remain open depending on the final design.
Preparation time for your Box House is maximum 12 weeks.
Assembly of the box house takes maximum1 day.
