Description
In Winsum, the municipality of Het Hogeland in Groningen, we have started developing an ecological zone. It is still in the early stages but the Het Hogeland municipality is thinking along with us.
Besides space for Tiny Houses (private or rental), we have also planned space for energy generation, a food forest and garden as well as a reflection garden with space for art and insects. The whole will have a park-like appearance with lots of greenery and native species, as well as an educational character for the northern part.
The land will be let in plots of around 100-200m2. We assume that the houses may be there for at least 15 years. The rent for the land is between €1,250- €2,750 per year, depending on the plot size. We would like to make it a quality area but are certainly open to your own designs.
So, if you like the idea of living in the most beautiful village in the Netherlands in the Groninger Hogeland, register via Registration - Terra Nova (terranovawinsum.nl) and indicate why you would like to come and live there. We have around 40 spots available on a site totalling 7 hectares, 2 of which are for the homes. We hope to allocate the first places during 2024. We will process your application once you have transferred the fee.
If you apply from 15 January, you will be put "on hold"; we will make a selection from the group of applicants based on motivation and choice of housing.
