Our little Sprout is a big boy! The combination of a compact base and a spacious greenhouse provides
affordable square meters, energy benefits and an exciting spatial experience.
Sprout’s base units are designed as an autonomous Tiny House; they include all installations, the
bathroom, kitchen, sleeping places and storage space. These flax insulated timber frame volumes
are prefabricated, transported by deep loading trailer and installed in no-time. On site, they can be
placed on large foundation “screws” that will leave no traces after removal.
The greenhouse serves as a hybrid extension of the “warm shell” and is assembled on site. It is a
“non-insulated” space, which you can enjoy for many months of the year. Especially in spring and
autumn, when the sun is already shining a bit, but when it is not very hot outside yet. Then you can
drink a cup of coffee here in your t-shirt! In the summer the greenhouse can open up completely, so
you can use it as a fantastic veranda. Furthermore, the roof of the greenhouse can be used to generate
energy.
Sprout House is a flexible design concept. As a starting point, different base unit sizes are available
of which the interiors are largely customizable. You can also choose to (partially) finish the interior
yourself. With regard to the outside, we like to give each house a unique expression, appropriate to
you and the place. Even birds can be invited by designing the facade to become “nature inclusive”.
It is also possible to design attractive “villages” with Sprout; each house unique, yet part of the
same family, rooted in the landscape. Within a collective set-up, green energy concepts often become
more feasible and affordable than when everything is arranged individually.
The price of Sprout House is variable. Departing from a basic setup, our aim is to be able to offer
Sprout starting from € 90,000. The somewhat larger models will go towards € 120,000.
