I am Martin Abresch from MarThijs Services and my company is located in Barendrecht, South Holland.
MarThijs Services is a one-man business and works in the transport sector, for both individuals and companies. My company is registered with the Chamber of Commerce and I drive with the required Niwo permit.
After starting in the transport of boats and caravans, a few Tiny Houses were added almost 2 years ago. This is now expanding and I hope to be able to offer visitors here my services for the transport of a Tiny House through this website. I also serve customers as both individuals and companies.
MarThijs Services can help you if, for example, you have bought a Tiny House and want it transported to your own location or pitch. Maybe you already have a house, but need to move it to another location? All no problem and you are welcome to contact me for information, advice (regarding transport) and of course a quote. I make a tailor-made offer for everyone and sometimes deeper consultation is necessary due to the route or circumstances of the location in question. Consider, for example, driving on a plot, forest path or meadow where the surface can differ (paved, unpaved).
Driving a Tiny House requires more attention than, for example, a caravan. A Tiny House is often longer, wider, higher and heavier. This must take into account taking sharp turns, height restrictions and when driving on a path at a location. For example, if the surface is not hard enough, the house can sink while driving, the weight must be taken into account when braking, which often amounts to 3500 kg (T.M.M), etc. This experience is therefore certainly in the house to to travel responsibly.
I do my work with a 4x4 pick-up. This can handle the houses well and under the right circumstances, the house can almost always be put in place as desired. This is also discussed well in advance to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
Just to be clear, what I can help you with are the Tiny Houses on wheels. These are built on trailer chassis that are RDW approved and are therefore allowed on public roads. So the chassis has its own braking system, lighting and license plate and so the whole can be moved by a towing vehicle with ball coupling.
