About Tiny Parque Emmeloord
Tiny Parque Emmeloord is a unique housing project by Tiny Parque Nederland B.V., a young developer focused on compact living concepts. The development took more than six years and began on a former agricultural site on the west side of Emmeloord. A beautiful location with plenty of space, nature, yet still close to amenities. Since the zoning change to residential use in 2024, the project has gained momentum.
The homes are architecturally designed and combine comfort, light, and space with a compact size. Ashwin Blauw, founder of Compact Housing BV and one of the initiators, said: “With this project, we prove that small living can feel grand. High ceilings, smart layouts, large windows – these homes are truly designed for comfortable living.”
Local production, high-quality craftsmanship
The homes are locally produced by Bouwbedrijf Roos, with whom Compact Housing works closely. In the specially designed prefab hall, the homes are built with attention to detail and high-quality materials. Blauw: “The production is professionally organized, and the construction quality is truly fantastic. You immediately notice the craftsmanship behind it.”

Although Tiny Parque Emmeloord is sold out, the two home types, BarnHaus 54 and LoftHaus 54, are also available outside this project. Compact Housing offers these homes for other locations in the Netherlands. Do you have your own plot, a recreational site, or are you involved in a similar initiative? Then you can have these homes installed independently – including support with permit applications, customization options, and construction.
