The Tiny House movement continues to grow in the Netherlands. More and more people are choosing a compact, sustainable home that fits their lifestyle and needs perfectly. But not every Tiny House is the same. While some models focus on temporary or movable living, Kaynad B.V. builds full-fledged, permanent homes of high quality. Tiny Houses that offer the comfort of a traditional home, but are smartly designed, sustainable, and efficiently built. Customers can choose from standard models or a fully customized home tailored to their personal wishes.
Tiny Houses as full-fledged homes
Kaynad B.V. is a modular builder with a clear vision: construction can be smarter, more sustainable, and faster. The company works with timber frame construction based on Kerto LVL: an innovative wood product that is extremely strong and lightweight. As a result, Kaynad’s homes are not only robust and well insulated, but also quick to build and sustainable in use. Their Tiny Houses are not a side project but a conscious choice. They offer a complete living experience in a smaller footprint.
A key moment for the company was the delivery of a Tiny House in Hierden. This project showed that a compact home can be just as solid and comfortable as a regular house. Since then, Kaynad has increasingly built compact homes that perfectly fit the Tiny House philosophy.
Fully customized, with a high-end finish
At Kaynad, you can choose from standard models or fully customized homes. Everything is possible: from the layout and facade cladding to the roof type, installations, and interior. Together with Kaynad’s in-house architects, your housing dreams are translated into a concrete design. The result is always a full-fledged home on a permanent foundation.
Comfort and quality are key. The houses are well insulated, meet all Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB) requirements as standard, and can optionally be built fully energy-neutral. Sustainability is an important factor, and there are many additional options available, such as green roofs, rainwater harvesting, and the use of natural materials.
Everything under one roof
Kaynad builds its homes entirely in-house at its production facility in Weert, the Netherlands. This means no import of foreign modules, but Dutch craftsmanship. This gives Kaynad maximum control over the building process, allowing them to guarantee quality and speed. Construction time averages 10 to 14 weeks. Installation on-site typically takes place within a single day, followed by some finishing work on the plot.
Kaynad also takes care of the entire process, from permit applications and foundation work to connecting utilities. This makes the process much clearer and more worry-free for the client. Whether you opt for a turn-key delivery or prefer to handle some tasks yourself, such as painting or installing the kitchen, Kaynad works with you.
Open House coming soon
Curious to see what a Kaynad Tiny House looks like in real life? On August 22 and 23 (dates subject to change), the company is organizing an open day. Visitors can view two homes: a compact 50 m² house and a larger 100 m² home. This will give you a great impression of the build quality, the materials used, and the level of comfort.
