TinyFindy likes to contribute to the realization of new locations for Tiny Houses. If you want to offer a piece of land for sale or rent that is suitable for one or more Tiny House residents, this location can be placed on TinyFindy for free. This offer is valid until the end of this calendar year.
Who is this unique offer intended for?
The offer is intended for anyone who wants to rent out or sell land for a long period of time, which can be made suitable for permanent residence with Tiny Houses. We expect that there are many people who have a piece of land on which they want to realize a project with Tiny Houses, but do not know how. Collaborating with Tiny House initiative groups, which you reach via TinyFindy, can provide momentum. These groups have often been active for some time in realizing their Tiny House project and have gained a lot of experience and contacts within the municipality, but are still looking for a suitable location.
Do you have a piece of undeveloped land that you want to rent out to Tiny House residents? Then advertising on TinyFindy may be just the thing to help you out! You may also want to combine Tiny Houses with the creation of new nature by using part of your agricultural land for a group of Tiny Houses and planting a new (food)forest. For examples, see the Testlab nieuwe natuur en klein wonen. TinyFindy is also the perfect promotion place for this.
Do you work for a municipality that is looking for an innovative and sustainable (perhaps even educational) destination for its own land, perhaps in anticipation of a zoning plan change? Via TinyFindy you can find your way to (prospective) Tiny House residents and Tiny House initiative groups!
Which locations can you place for free?
At TinyFindy we support the Tiny House movement. The location must therefore be suitable, or can be made suitable, for permanent (all year round) residency in a Tiny House. This can be for a few years, and if possible for an indefinite period of time. It is not possible to promote campsites or holiday parks, but if part of the site can be made suitable for permanent residence over a longer period, this is possible.
If there is not (yet) a permit or exemption for residential use of the land, this must be stated in the text, so that interested parties know which procedures still need to be completed.
What are your benefits?
Via TinyFindy your location is seen by many Tiny House enthusiasts (more than 700 visitors per day on average). You have a great chance of finding the buyers or tenants that match your plot and your vision.
Marjolein Jonker owns TinyFindy, but also owns the Register of aspiring Tiny House residents, where people who want to live in a Tiny House are informed about available or under development locations. She is familiar with all initiatives in the Netherlands, including plans by housing collectives that are looking for locations to live together in Tiny Houses. Based on your submitted offer, she performs a quick scan in her files to see whether residents or initiative groups can be directly linked to your offer and informs you accordingly. Your land may well be the missing link in a process that is already well advanced with the municipality.
Why FREE?
Finding suitable locations is the biggest challenge for people and groups who want to live in a Tiny house. We are convinced that there are many more suitable locations, but they do not always find the right route to new users. By placing locations on TinyFindy for free, we want to help bring together promising locations and super enthusiastic Tiny House residents.
