TinyFindy.nl was launched in December 2017 and no fewer than 1200 visitors a day already know to find their way to the website. TinyFindy showcases Tiny Houses, lots and products for Tiny Houses from a multitude of providers and is designed to serve the growing number of Tiny House fans. Initiators Marjolein Jonker and Marcel van Mierlo have great confidence in the future of small living and are now launching a renewed and bilingual (Dutch and English) TinyFindy website for international use. TinyFindy.nl becomes TinyFindy.com.

A big movement in a small country

The Netherlands is at the forefront of the European Tiny House movement. There is a highly organized community of Tiny House enthusiasts who are working hard to obtain residential locations.

As an ambassador of the Tiny House movement in the Netherlands, Marjolein keeps a close eye on all developments. More than 45 housing projects with several Tiny Houses and no fewer than 80 local citizen initiative groups are now known to her. Compared to many other Europeans countries where the Tiny House movement is just starting to gain momentum, Netherland is several years ahead.

Therefore it makes sense that the Dutch initiative TinyFindy becomes a marketplace for the European Tiny House movement. Marjolein: “For such a small country, we have a rather big Tiny House movement. We love to connect with all of Europe, share our experiences and knowledge and help the movement grow internationally.”

Launch of a new era

With the introduction of an English version of the site, the world of Tiny Houses is further opened up to anyone interested in this new type of housing and it’s corresponding lifestyle.

Marjolein Jonker: “We already receive a lot of questions from abroad. These come from both foreign builders of houses and foreign Tiny House fans, who want to live in a small house themselves. We are happy to help them and that is of course much easier if the site is in English. It will also be easier for Dutch producers to offer their products across the border. ”

The basis of TinyFindy does not change but is strengthened with the launch of the new website. Marcel van Mierlo: “TinyFindy remains the place where you can offer Tiny Houses, lots, products and services for Tiny Houses directly to the target group. What have we changed, you may ask? We felt that placing a product listing could be easier and clearer. The user-friendliness for visitors also needed improvement.”

On the new website, anyone can contact the providers directly and without needing to register or log on first. This removes a barrier that is expected to increase the number of contact requests even further. Placing, changing and extending product listings has also been made a lot easier. In the new version, for example, the provider can easily raise the listing back up on the main listing page and homepage.

The listing categories have been simplified. On the new site you can choose from the categories: Tiny House, Lot, Product and Service. The services category is new. Here you could find architects, transporters, appraisers, but also courses in the field of small living and construction. For all your Tiny House supplies you can now go to one place: TinyFindy.com.

We wish you much fun browsing on TinyFindy!
