When your Tiny House consists of two floors, if only because you have a sleeping loft, then you need a staircase. However, a staircase takes up a relatively large amount of space in your house of limited size. Space that you may prefer to use to place a table and chairs, or to place a normal-sized kitchen. EeStairs has developed the 1m2™ staircase especially for use in small spaces: a spiral staircase that takes up minimal space.

Why opt for a spiral staircase

You may think: ‘a spiral staircase is not the most obvious choice in a Tiny House’. You often see stairs with built-in storage space, so that the space that the stairs takes up is used multifunctionally. However, the spiral staircase of EeStairs Nederland bv is so compact that it only takes up one square meter of surface. That’s less than the average Tiny House stair with storage space included!

A stylish interior element

A spiral staircase is a statement, a modern eye-catcher in your interior that expresses a certain residential style. Do you prefer a light and open interior, or an industrial and sleek look? Do you also find it important to sacrifice as little space as possible for the stairs in your Tiny House? Then the 1m2™ staircase, which is available in all kinds of different colors, is just the choice for you.

The EeStairs 1m2™ staircase is available in all RAL colors. This way you can have it completely match the rest of your interior. Choose to make it stand out in a primary color, or make it as unobtrusive as possible by choosing a color that almost blends into the background.

You can also use a spiral staircase multifunctionally. You can attach all kinds of elements to a spiral staircase, accents that enhance the style of your interior. For example, how about hanging a few beautiful hanging plants on your stairs. In December you can go crazy with Christmas decorations and turn your spiral staircase into a modern day Christmas tree. Or you just keep it tranquil and sober, the choice is yours.

Extremely strong and yet light in weight

The 1m2™ staircase is  fabricated from steel with sharp precision and features a unique column-and-handrail design where the column is slightly angled. That is what makes the 1m2™ staircase so compact and safe. The staircase can safely carry 300 kg, but at the same time is surprisingly light in weight (approx. 125 kg, depending on the size). This is an important factor when the stairs are placed in a THOW (Tiny House On Wheels), which must not weigh more than 3500 kg in order to be transported with a BE driving license. The 1m2™ staircase is easy to deliver and install due to its low weight.

Naturally, great attention has been paid to safety. The stairs are equipped with non-slip studs on the steps as standard, the handrail is optional.

Compose your 1m2™ stairs yourself with the online configurator

A handy tool for both professional Tiny House construction companies and private builders is the EeStairs online configurator. Simply enter a few basic specifications to instantly receive accurate design visualizations, including cost and delivery details.

Of course you will also find the 1m2™ staircase from EeStairs in the listings on TinyFindy.
