Off Grid living course
Do you want to learn everything about the off-grid life? Off-grid center hosts a new course every month, covering different aspects of off-grid living. During the course you will be provided with the latest news, tricks and information about off-grid living.
The courses are taught by Nander and Tamara, who have a lot of experience with the off-grid lifestyle and are up to speed with the latest trends and developments on the market. This off-grid duo will teach you everything about solar panels and boilers, water filtration and off grid plumbing. The entire off-grid spectrum is covered in a clear and easy to follow one-day course.

Tiny House Academy
Since May 2017 Jan Willem and Noortje, the founders/owners of Tiny House Academy, live in their own tiny house which they designed and built themselves. Jan Willem’s background as an architect, the joint creation of their own Tiny House and their passion for knowledge sharing inspired them to start the Tiny House Academy.
The Academy focuses on DIYers: people who want to design or build a Tiny House themselves. The lesson packages consist of a combination of physical lessons and online lesson modules. You can also approach Tiny House Academy for a consultation on the most diverse issues for your project.

These and many other questions will be answered in the course ‘Your Tiny House – From Dream to Reality’.
A team of Dutch Tiny House experts will help you with theoretical and practical knowledge, skills and inspiration to make your housing wish come true. The course was developed by Tiny House pioneers Marjolein “in het klein” Jonker and Monique van Orden and includes online lessons, live course meetings and access to the Facebook support group.

AHAD.nu, Antti Hänninen Architectuur en Design
Antti Hänninen designs timber-frame houses and is increasingly receiving assignments for the design of Tiny Houses. For Antti, a Tiny House is a complete house, but small. The Tiny Houses that he designs comply with the building regulations, making them comfortable and small for residents in summer and winter.
The Tiny House architect also advises on the application possibilities of helophyte filters, compost toilets, water collection for showers, drinking water, water for use in the edible garden and generating electricity. He also designed the first Tiny House On Wheels, for which a permanent Environmental Permit has been granted and works together with constructors and other consultants.

Menno Versluis – Woonpioniers
Designer Menno Versluis lives with his girlfriend and son in a Tiny House and specializes in designing compact dwellings. Menno wants to stimulate the imagination and helps in making well-founded decisions about the layout, the use of materials and the installation technology. This can also result in a design, where you build part of the house yourself.
Menno is part of the collective Woonpioniers where he is supported by a network of experts in the field of biobased construction, collectivity, modularity, energy, urban development and landscape. He is happy to be available for individual pioneers, but of course also for initiative groups.

Register of (aspiring) Tiny House residents
You want to live in a Tiny House, but where is that allowed? The register of Tiny House residents, an initiative of Marjolein Jonker, will help you on your way. You will automatically receive a message when a new Tiny House residential location is developed in the region of your choice.
If municipalities, housing corporations or land owners are looking for interested Tiny House residents, they can also request a contact list from the register. Participants in the register receive an overview twice a month of all developments related to Tiny House residential locations in their chosen provinces (maximum three).

Course Self-sufficient off-grid
Are you curious about off-grid and self-sufficient facilities? Then come to the popular day course Self-sufficient Off-grid, where you get basic knowledge in the field of heat, energy, water and sanitation. After this course day, you will know why you would or should not choose certain products or solutions.
Niels Gorisse has studied all kinds of topics related to off-grid living for 15 years, and for the past 5 years he has covered in this day course: solar panels, solar boilers, compost toilets, rain collection and filtration, ecological insulation materials, helophyte filters and more. You will not so much get to know individual products, but instead learn why you would choose what product, plus the underlying ecological advantages and disadvantages. You are very welcome, both online and on location!
